Run the club.Keep the confidences.
The membership platform that won’t drop you, out you, or make your secretary cry.
Members and vetting, dues, events and the door, weekends, meetings, elections and title contests for queer, leather and kink nonprofits. One place, one permission model, with privacy in the data model instead of a settings page.

Sealed. Only the treasurer and membership chair can open it, they have to give a reason, and Pup Comet sees every read.
Today the club runs on borrowed tools that don’t much like you.
- 6–10
tools, on a good year
Members in a spreadsheet, dues through PayPal or Square, tickets on Eventbrite, a Squarespace site, Mailchimp, Zoom and Discord. Every board turnover loses passwords and history.

Stripe added “fetish services” to its prohibited list
Square, PayPal and Venmo pool merchants the same way. An org selling tickets to a kink education weekend can lose its account and have funds frozen without warning.
- One name
is all generic software expects
It assumes the legal name, shows it everywhere, and prints the club’s full name on every member’s card statement. One careless export can out someone.
Two guarantees. Each one is a screen you can open.
The demo runs a fictional leather club. Use Viewing as in its top bar to switch between the president, the treasurer, the door volunteer and a plain member, and watch what each of them can and can’t see.
Payments that don’t get you dropped.
Each org is the merchant of record on its own account. Colors never holds or pools your money, so one club’s processor trouble can’t touch another’s.
Kink and leather orgs connect Authorize.net on their own merchant account from a high-risk-friendly provider. Mainstream orgs connect Stripe. A sale only goes through a processor that approved that kind of sale in writing, and you record those approvals in Colors. Bank transfer and recorded cash or check work for everyone.
CCBill and Segpay come next as backups. Today the demo shows switching to one in simulation, without moving money.
Members see a neutral name on their card statement. We help kink orgs register one, like CLS INC instead of the club’s full name.

Privacy lives in the data model.
Every member has two identities. The scene name shows everywhere. The legal name, address and date of birth are encrypted separately and readable only by the roles that need them: the treasurer and the membership chair, not even the president. Each read needs a reason, is logged, and is visible to the member it’s about.
Directory listing, photos and profile fields stay off until a member turns them on.
Venue addresses are stored apart from event listings and released only to approved ticket holders, close to the date.
Geolocation check-in happens on the phone. It sends the ticket and one fact, inside or not, and never coordinates. A door volunteer’s QR scan is the default; organizers can turn geolocation off.
Members can download everything the club holds about them, and see who has read their legal name.

Boards are volunteers, and they turn over every year or two. This is what’s working in the demo today, so the next secretary inherits a system instead of a shoebox of passwords.
Membership
- Applications and vettingSponsors, interviews and orientation before anyone joins. 18+ checked at signup for kink orgs.
- ImportsA CSV, TidyHQ or WildApricot export, with a dry run before anything is saved.
- Invitations and rolesInvite people with their role already set. Each role sees only what its job needs.
- Club historyPast boards and titleholders, so the record survives every handover.
Events and weekends
- TicketsCapacity, waitlists, comps, refunds, approvals, and a code of conduct and photo policy every buyer accepts.
- Weekends, cons and campsA schedule, volunteer shifts and updates to ticket holders, all on one event.
- ReservationsCampsites, cabins and vendor tables. Whoever books invites the rest, and each person pays for their own spot.
- Member-proposed eventsMembers propose a munch or a workshop; the board approves it and the member hosts.
- Door modeScan tickets on a phone, see photo preferences, and keep working when the venue has no signal.
Running the club
- MeetingsAgendas and recording only when everyone says yes. AI-drafted minutes need that same consent, and use scene names.
- ElectionsSecret ballots, eligibility rules and quorum, with a ballot ledger anyone can check.
- Title contestsJudge scoresheets, weighted categories, a tabulator view, results sealed until the reveal.
- LearningA guide for every role, and trainings a club can require before a role unlocks.
Talking to members
Trust
- Sign-inPasskeys or an emailed link. Officers need a second factor before their role works.
- Audit logEvery sensitive read and change, hash-chained so you can check nothing was edited.
- Your own dataDownload everything the club holds about you, and see every read of your legal name.
- SafetyReports go to a named team, with due process. Bans stay inside the org that made them.
Still to come: native phone apps (the web app works on phones today, door mode included), wallet passes, accounting software sync, self-serve account deletion, and live CCBill and Segpay connections.
What we won’t do.
A leak can out someone. These aren’t settings an admin can change; they’re how the product is built.
- No ad pixels. Not on your site, not in the apps.
- No selling data. Not to advertisers, brokers or anyone else.
- No location history.Check-in never stores coordinates.
- No shared blacklists.Bans stay inside the org that made them, with due process.
- No explicit content.Hosted sites and apps carry club administration, not adult material.

Free for a year, for clubs who’ll tell us the truth.
We’re looking for a handful of organizations to run real members, dues and events on Colors while it’s built. You get the platform free for a year. We get your feedback every week, including the parts that annoy your secretary.
The button opens an email to partners@colors.example. Tell us your org, roughly how many members, and what you use today. There’s no form, and nothing is stored on this page.
Who we’re looking for
- Two leather or kink clubs
- One title contest
- One Court chapter
- One chorus or LGBTQ center
